This experimental documentary, shot during the COVID-19 pandemic in Toronto, Canada, explores the social alienation created in a car-dominant city, where public space has been exchanged for car-convenient services, and the relationships of city inhabitants are further separated by the automobile. The work is a record of the times, focusing on the transformation of the city when the automobile became a physical and societal filter; where the machine acts as a barrier between the dangerous outside world, and the safe interior world, protecting the fragile human body navigating the city of the future.

Lon(don)liness is a short film that portrays one day inside the city of London. It explores the inherent loneliness felt during the last lockdown. Empty center, crowded suburbs; the city appears as dislocated, fragmented and in some instances obsolete. Whilst on the other side of the lit windows, prevails the society of individuals; the urban dwellers who remain indoors.
